What services do you offer?
I offer a wide range of personalized pet care services including dog walking, hiking/trail adventures, high-energy runs, drop-in visits, cat care, medication administration, meal-time assistance, and customized care plans. Every service is designed to fit your pet’s individual needs, whether that’s burning energy, providing comfort, or simply keeping their routine consistent while you’re away.
How do I get started with your services?
Getting started is simple! You can book directly through my online system, but I always recommend reaching out first, especially if you’re new. That way we can talk through your pet’s needs, personality, and routine to make sure everything is a perfect fit. From there, we can schedule an optional meet-and-greet so I can meet your pet and get you set up for services with total confidence.
Do I have to book a meet-and-greet?
It’s not required, but it’s encouraged. Think of it as a first impression for both you and your pet. It allows me to learn your pet’s routine, quirks, favorite hiding spots, and “absolutely nots,” while also giving your pet a chance to meet me in a calm, familiar environment.
What can I expect from you when you are caring for my pet?
You can expect thoughtful, attentive, and very thorough care because I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone.
I provide detailed updates every step of the way, including:

A full overview once the visit is complete so you know exactly how everything went
You’ll always know your pet has been fed, exercised, given medications (if needed), and cared for properly, no guessing, no wondering!
I also love including photos and videos so you can see how your pet is doing. And sometimes (because I can’t help myself), I’ll even leave a little handwritten “report card” with notes about their behavior, what we did, and how they were feeling that day.
That said, I also understand not everyone wants constant updates. If you’d prefer minimal communication, just let me know and I’ll happily match your preference.
What makes your pet care different from others?
I treat your pet like an individual, not a time slot. I pay attention to the little things, body language, comfort level, energy, routine changes and adjust accordingly.
With my veterinary background, I also bring an extra level of awareness when it comes to health and behavior.
Basically: your pet isn’t just “checked on.” They’re actually cared for!
What types of pets do you work with?
I primarily work with dogs and cats, but I’m open to other pets depending on their needs. If you’ve got a more unique situation, feel free to reach out, I love learning and adapting!
Can you handle high-energy or working breeds?
Absolutely. I actually love working with high-energy dogs—they thrive when given proper outlets like structured walks, runs, or trail adventures. If your dog has energy for days, I’m your person.
Do you work with shy, anxious, or reactive pets?
Yes! I have experience working with pets who need a little extra patience and understanding. I never force interactions and always work at your pet’s pace. Building trust is the priority.
Can you administer medications?
Yes. I’m comfortable administering many types of medications including oral meds, topicals, and certain injectables depending on the situation. With my veterinary experience, I take medication schedules and accuracy very seriously.
What if my pet has a medical condition?
That’s completely okay. I have experience monitoring pets with various medical needs and will follow your instructions carefully. Communication is key here, so the more details you provide, the better I can care for your pet.
How does payment work?
Payments are completed securely through my booking platform at the time of scheduling. This keeps everything organized and guarantees your spot.
What forms of payment do you accept?
The booking platform accepts major payment methods but I also accept cash payments for special circumstances. If a cash payment agreement is made with me prior to service completion, I ask that you clearly label any cash payments being made and notify me in advance to where the payment is to be received. If you have any questions about payment options, feel free to ask!
What happens if there’s an emergency?
Your pet’s safety comes first, always. In the event of an emergency, I will act quickly, contact you immediately, and seek veterinary care if needed using your preferred vet or the nearest emergency clinic. I will keep you updated every step of the way.
Are your services a good fit for every pet?
Not always, and that’s okay. Some services (like runs or hikes) aren’t ideal for senior pets, brachycephalic breeds, or pets with certain health conditions. I’ll always be honest about what’s safe and appropriate for your pet.
Can you customize services for my pet?
Yes! I love creating custom care plans. If your pet has unique needs or you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for listed, reach out and we’ll build something together.
Do you only care for pets in my home?
Yes, services are provided in your pet’s home or through outings like walks, runs, or hikes. This keeps your pet comfortable in their familiar environment.
Do you offer last-minute bookings?
Sometimes! I try to be as flexible as possible, but availability can be limited. If you’re in a pinch, reach out and I’ll do my best to help.
Do you offer recurring services?
Yes, and they’re a great option for pets who thrive on routine. We can set up a consistent schedule that works for both you and your pet. For long-term clients I do offer discounts!
